What are the Risks?
TDoS attacks and Robocalls can interrupt your 9-1-1 center operations, potentially preventing the public you serve from reaching you during times of crisis. The Call Defense™ System from SecureLogix can help.
TDoS Attacks
Foreign actors are targeting 9-1-1 centers, flooding them with calls and occasionally bridging multiple centers together using their conference bridge capabilities. These calls often cause confusion, tie up your admin lines and prevent legitimate calls from being answered. The Calls Defense™ System from Securelogix is the industry's premier Voice Firewall. We are currently deployed in 9-1-1 centers across the United States.
Robocalls
Securelogix maintains a database of known bad callers. This database is constantly updated. Our Voice Firewall simply blocks these calls, using technology similar to mobile phone carriers. No action is required by staff. Terminating these bad calls allows staff to address normal operations without interruption.
Recent studies show that robocall companies are beginning to focus their efforts on business and government agencies.
Swatting
SWATT callers typically spoof their phone number. This is an attempt to prevent detection and fraudulently portray themselves as having knowledge of a situation requiring immediate response. The Orchestra One™ Call Authentication Service from SecureLogix can assist by using a scoring method to validate the caller
