St. Paul Jewish Community Center Evacuated in Wave of U.S. Bomb Threats

February 20, 2017

The Jewish Community Center in St. Paul’s Highland Park neighborhood reopened after a Monday morning bomb threat prompted an evacuation, one of at least 10 around the country.

After a search of the facility, St. Paul police did not find bombs or dangerous devices.

Police spokesman Steve Linders said the center received a “robo-call”-style threat around 10 a.m. Monday and police sent multiple officers, including a bomb squad.
